Care is the cornerstone of our practice

My name is Victor Perez, I recently made a transition from being a chef to become a physical therapist assistant (PTA). I imagined myself working in the kitchen for the rest of my life, however life never works the way you plan it and here we are working as a medical professional with an exceptional company IRC of Plano. Working directly with patients has transformed my life and my person teaching me compassion and care for others. It has allowed me to love people in ways I didn’t think it was possible. Not only has it allowed me to care for others, but it has opened the doors to care and appreciate myself as a person. Brings me joy to make a positive impact in others which in return enriches my heart and soul.

I plan on continuing my career in the physical therapy world to earn my doctorate. An area I would like to focus  later down the road is pediatrics, a special population that is usually overlooked in the physical therapy world.

In my spare time I love spending time with my soulmate (my wife), our 3 Doberman and our recently acquired chicken family. I enjoy board games, movies, and the simple country life.

I am and advocate for animals especially large dog breeds. My wife and I are volunteers at Doberman Rescue of North Texas which is a non-profit no kills shelters which specializes in the Doberman breed.
